RMHC of the Bluegrass® provides housing for families of ill or injured children in a communal living setting. It is critical to maintain a safe and sanitary environment in order to protect the health of Families, Employees, Volunteers, Visitors or Others to help flatten the community spread of COVID-19 in Fayette County and beyond.
As with everyone else, we are monitoring the fast-changing facts and information regarding this virus with great concern. We have been in close contact with our RMHC Global Offices, the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department, and our partners at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital to ensure a proactive and unified response.
Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to suspend ALL volunteer activity and non-essential staff & guests to RMHC of the Bluegrass until further notice.
This includes our Dinner Groups who so graciously provide meals for our 21 Guest Families each night. Taking in to consideration this declared state of emergency while also being mindful of our Mission of providing comfort and care for our Guest Families while they are staying here at RMH, we would be grateful for your support in helping us continue to meet the unique needs of Families in-need.
In order to accomplish this goal, we have relaunched our ‘A Taste of Home’ program.
This program relies on the generous support from RMHC’s Dinner Groups, Restaurant Partners and People like YOU!
Your donation or discounted catering pricing of dinner for our 50 Guests will enable us to continue providing the highest quality of care for them and allow their sole focus to be on the health and care of their child.
We are grateful to you for your help while we all navigate this difficult time.
Thank you to those who have previously supported our ‘A Taste of Home’ program!
