Keeping Families Close ®

Ronald McDonald House Charities ® of the Bluegrass provides comfort, care, and kindness when it matters the most.

While we don’t administer medical care, we keep thousands of children and families close to the critical care they need – and to each other. Our programs are designed with the community in mind. They provide essential care like places of respite for parents, space for children to be children, and communities of support for all family members dealing with a child’s medical crisis.

We believe when families are together, they cope better. We believe no family should have to deal with their child’s medical crisis alone. And that is why we are so proud to have been keeping children and their families together since 1984.

Our Mission

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Bluegrass (RMHC) is to create and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children, and to strengthen families by keeping them together in times of medical need.

Our Vision

A world where all children have access to medical care and their families are supported and actively involved in their children’s care.
